Returns & Exchanges: Satisfaction guaranteed on every purchase

We guarantee every product we sell. If a product does not meet your expectations during its useful life, we promise to repair it, replace it or give you a refund.

Items may be returned if new, clean and in original packaging and with all labels and tags included. Weight-bearing climbing equipment is not returnable.

You may return items by filling out the form on the back of your invoice or by downloading the Returns Form. We'll need to know:

  • Your contact information (name, email, address, phone
  • Your order # and customer #
  • Why the item didn't work for you (fit, color, etc)
  • If you are requesting an exchange, please tell us the item #, size and color of the new item
  • Which credit card we should credit (refund) or charge (if a balance is due on an exchange)
  • Call 800.829.2009 to arrange for return of large items sent to you via motor freight.

Things to remember:

  • Keep a copy of your invoice for your own records
  • Send your package via a trackable shipping method (UPS, FedEx, USPS with Delivery Confirmation)
  • Keep the shipping receipt for your return, including the tracking #
  • Footwear (and other items packaged in boxes) must be wrapped so no labels are put directly on the cardboard
  • Items must be cleaned prior to being sent. Dirty items will be assessed a $5 cleaning fee.

Warranties:
Items returned for warranty will be assessed to determine if the item will be repaired, refunded or replaced, and this decision is at the discretion of Mountain Gear. All items must be cleaned before returning. Dirty items will be returned to you or assessed a $5 cleaning fee. We will contact you regarding the status of your warranty.
